The police in London will be celebrating today as another police officer has been let off with murdering an innocent man in broad daylight.

Ian Tomlinson was going about his day selling newspapers in the vicinity of the G20 protests in London on the 1st of April 2009, when the protests turned into riots because of the heavy handed and completely raging police, Mr Tomlinson tried to make his way to safety. Caught on amateur video Mr. Tomlinson can be seen, hands in pockets, negotiating the escalating trouble. After the police dog has a bite at him, and Tomlinson still has the audacity to walk on a public street, ‘PC A’ decides that it isn’t on and thumps him to the ground, an act of cowardice and bigotry that ended up killing Mr Tomlinson.

Mr. Tomlinson died that day, because a policeman hit him, no other reason. He was not scared by the crowd and have a heart attack, or try to run only to be hit by a car, or even trampled by the crowd. He was killed by someone who was there to take control, not lose it.

Since the initial calls for justice not much has made the papers, until today when the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) and the Crown Prosecution Services (CPS) found that there was no case to answer and no charges should be brought against codename PC ‘A’… There was a time frame to bring charges, unfortunately the police forgot this and that window of opportunity has closed.

PC ‘A’ murdered a man who did nothing more than walk infront of the bloodthirsty goon, Ian Tomlinson was not a protester, he was a newspaper seller. PC ‘A’ was a meat head cop with body armor and a large beating stick, with which he caused the death of a civilian. Once again it shows that murder is absolutely acceptable as long as you are in uniform and in London. The PC in question had been suspended before.

courtesy of www.cosmodaddy.com

After the first post-mortem showed that Mr Tomlinson had died of natural causes, a second one was called for because the whole “police brutality” thing hadn’t been taken into account, the second report showed that blunt force trauma to the abdomen had directly caused the death. This was the result of two separate post mortems.

Had Ian Tomlinson been a mask wearing activist wrecking shop fronts and causing general chaos in the streets of London then any altercations with the police would have just been part and parcel. However, Ian Tomlinson was an innocent trying to find a way home through the police lines, after being bitten by a police dog he was thumped with a bat and hit to the ground, he was helped to his feet by the evil protesters before collapsing and dying… All thanks to the police… Who once again will get away with murder, all thanks to the terror laws which suggest that tax paying citizens who are fed up with being treated like criminals are somehow now fodder for terrified and hate filled police officers.

Much like when the police executed a guy on a crowded train based solely on the colour of his skin, they never seem to have to face the music in this country. As I have said before, surely a prerequisite for being in the police, particularly they kind of police officer who will be handed a weapon, would be that they have a level head and at least have some control over their emotions.

Obviously not. The IPCC and CPS have set a dangerous precedent by failing to find a case against this murdering psychopath in a police uniform. The Tomlinson family will be appealing, and so they should, the murder of Ian Tomlinson is on tape for the world to see, and simply because the killer is a cop, they are happy to brush it under the carpet. Again.

He should treat them a little better since Scotland have all the oil, and all the crazy kilted lunatics.

Scotland, (Jul 16) – The UK Government has told the US that the release of the man charged with the Lockerbie bombing, Abdelbaset al-Megrahi, was a mistake, and since the coalition government announced this, Hilary Clinton has began looking into claims that the deal was struck in conjunction with BP to secure an oil deal with Libya.

To begin with, the Scottish Government released al-Megrahi, and the Scottish Government does not apologize for it or regard it as a mistake, and neither should they.

The main argument seems to be that it is disrespectful to the families of the victims on both sides of the Atlantic, but believe it or not there are people from the village of Lockerbie who never agreed with the verdict, including the man who was the local priest at the time who had the job of burying the dead residents, all of whom residents in the very street he lived on.

Naturally everyone is entitled to their opinion, but Cameron telling the Yanks it was a “mistake” is confusing, the Scottish Government stands by its decision to release al-Megrahi, and in no way apologizes for it. This subject was covered in last week’s edition of Question Time, and Nicola Sturgeon Deputy First Minister of Scotland made that perfectly clear.

Regardless of what a doctor who was not involved with the original prognosis has to say on the subject, guessing how long a terminal patient has to live is not an exact science, it’s not even a science, it is guesswork. America knows all about making rash decisions based on guesswork, their entire foreign policy for the duration of the Bush Administration was completely based on guesswork.

The rest of the World should really trust the Scots more. It is not as we are some egotistical nation who have contributed nothing but take credit for everything. It’s the complete opposite A Scot has been on the forefront of progress since the beginning.

I have actually written something very similar to this on a different site, albeit with slightly more colourful language, back when al-Megrahi was released and Obama was shouting for a boycott of Scottish produce. A boycott I backed, but I felt there was no room for being meticulous. Why not go the whole hog and boycott everything that Scotland has given the world, and that list is so long and so full of things still in use today that boycotting it would result in a quick trip back to the dark ages.

Highlights of which include; anesthetics, penicillin, tarmac, Halloween, fridges, microwaves, iron bridges, the telephone, the television and my personal favorite, The US Navy.

So while many people across the globe think of Scots as clans of men in kilts who live in castles and spend their days either fighting for freedom or roaming the glen (wend not releasing dangerous criminals willy-nilly). They do not, but you think that because of the Stereotype, another thing to thank the Scots for.

David Cameron can call it what he wants, but his reasons are as transparent and self-serving as always. He has taken the side of America over Scotland, not that we should be in any way surprised given his position, and his party’s history regarding relations with his neighbors to the north. He should treat them a little better since Scotland has all the oil, and all the crazy kilted lunatics.

An inquiry may well appease the people who have read about this in the newspapers but it is not as he will be re-arrested, no matter your opinion on the subject Abdebaset al-Megrahi will die a free man, whenever he actually dies. Seeing as the only person, I know who actually lived through the hell of that night in Lockerbie not only thinks al-Megrahi was innocent, but also he campaigned for his release at great cost both professionally and personally, that is enough for me.

I find myself agreeing with a Government decision for once. Which is a problem as I’m sure you can imagine.

There is a facebook page dedicated to the "legend" Raoul Moat, if he was such a legend then why is he missing part of his head?

When Raoul Moat finally made a good decision and pulled the trigger the other day, one would think that we had heard the last of him, apparently not.

Rather than take the victory of getting rid of an idiot, there are calls to spend actual money on an inquest into his death, monies that could be spent on things of importance. His family and friends are now shocked and disturbed at the death of their little Raoul, his brother in particular has been in the papers talking about how hurt he is, and how compensation would help, despite not having seen his murdering psychopathic brother in 7 years.

The big question being asked in the inquest is did the tasers fired by the police make the gun go off. Before too much money is spent on answering this pointless question, I would like to chime in with my 2 cents, who cares? Really, does it matter? The person shot three people, one of them died. Another, a police officer, might never see again because Moat shot him in the face… Who cares how the gun went off…? The important thing is that it did go off.

There is a facebook page dedicated to the “legend” Raoul Moat, if he was such a legend then why is he missing part of his head?

References to his “problems” are understandable; drugs do make some people go mad. Some people online have blamed the entire thing on women in general, and insist that had there been a women officer with a gun Moat should have shot her… I am sure it makes sense in the head of the idiot who said it.

Others are quick to pass it off as a mistake, one that anyone could make, “I don’t think he was evil or a bad person…” said one misinformed reader of the Daily Mail, who misses the point completely, good and evil does not come into it. Being a murdering psychopath is the only real issue. Had he just been a nutter with a gun then I’m sure I would feel differently. But he shot three people, one died, he threatened the cops and the public, wasted time and money, yet people think he is some sort of victim or anti-hero?

The fact that he outwitted the police and SAS for one week is amusing in a depressing sort of way. Anti-hero might be the wrong choice of words, but you get the point. It is a natural reaction to take the side of the villain against the police, have some taste though; this person shot unarmed people and hid in a drain for a week, hardly a criminal genius.

Where were these people when the police executed Jean Charles De Menenez? More than likely sitting in the pub letting racial profiling, and murder slide.

I am sure the inquest will be ongoing, pointless and utterly enthralling for anyone who thinks you can get news from Sky News.

Had he been emo I'm sure he would have just written some poetry, but in fitting with the stereotypical muscleman image, he went Rambo, and ended up dead.

Rothbury, UK (Jul 10) – The weeklong search for the fugitive Raoul Moat ended in the early hours of the morning after a tense 6 hour stand-off. Moat, wanted for the murder of one man, and the shooting of two other people found him surrounded on a bank of a river.

The town of Rothbury in Northumbnailerland provided the setting for Moat’s last stand, which ended with the former nightclub bouncer shooting himself in the head. It is rumoured that a taser fired at the gunman may have inadvertently made Moat pull the trigger, this came after news cameras picked up the sound of someone screaming seconds before the fatal shot rang out.

This marked the end of a huge manhunt that lasted a week, and captivated the country. The strange story kept getting stranger and in the final hours football legend Paul Gascoigne turned up at the site with a bucket of fried chicken and bottled water, telling the police that he was an old friend of Moat. Not even the appearance of the Geordie hero could make Moat surrender, although it seemed for a while that he was prepared to give up.

The police admit to firing a taser at Moat, as a less lethal alternative, but there is no official word yet if it did indeed make the gunman shoot himself accidentally. No police were injured during the siege, despite Moats declaration of war against them after his ex-partner Samantha Stobbart, with whom he had a child, informed him that her new man was a police officer (he wasn’t) in order to scare him off. Little did she know it would end so tragically.

Raoul Moat shot himself at around 1:15 am BST, and was pronounced dead in aNewcastle hospital around an hour later. He was discovered near a riverbank at 7pm BST.

Considering Moat embarked on his paranoia fuelled rampage days after being released from prison, a trip back to prison was unlikely to have the effect needed, it was either going to end with him being committed or it would end like it did, with the deranged muscleman dead. Post mortem examinations will take place; this will prove just how he died, and which gun killed him. Suicide by police was always a danger, and with so many snipers and armed police in the area, anything could have happened.

There was a threat to the public after a Dictaphone was found among his possessions in a tent thought to be where Moat had been hiding since the initial shootings one week ago. The recording stated Moat was complaining about the way the media was reporting the story, and if the public did not change the way they perceived a mad, steroid abusing, meat-head running around the town with guns, then he would start targeting them too. He did not, and from what it seems, he did not shoot at any more police either. Had he been emo then I’m sure he would have just written some poetry, but in fitting with the stereotypical muscleman image, he went Rambo, and ended up dead.

It was exciting though.

Scotland (Jul 08) – Gunman Raoul Moat is still on the run from police as the search for the former bodyguard intensifies. Snipers have been drafted in alongside the police, army, and SAS to track down the man who has declared war on the police.

So far Moat has killed one person, his ex-girlfriends new partner Chris Brown, he also shot and injured his ex-girlfriend Sam Stobbart, and a policeman, both of whom are recovering in hospital.

In the past few days, the police have followed a string of clues left across the countryside by the deranged muscleman. First they found his car, abandoned not far from a secluded area where they found a tent which Moat had been using as his HQ, there they found a new letter, this one addressed to Miss Stobbart but equally rambling as his 49 page novel that he wrote to the police.

The police have now brought in help from someone claiming to know the former doorman, and who claims to have a knowledge of places Moat is likely to be hiding, the informant could seen yesterday behind what looked like a poor man’s Testudo Formation as they maneuvered the countryside setting.

Mr. Moat has been on the run since his shooting spree one week ago on 1 July; the same day he left prison.

In a strange turn of events, two men, previously thought to have been taken hostage by Moat, have been charged with conspiring to commit murder. Karl Ness and Qhuram Awan were found wandering down a country road armed. It is alleged that Ness was with Moat when he shot Sam Stobbart and her new partner Chris Brown.

After almost one week of searching, and still no sign, it would appear that Moat has either slipped the ring (so to speak), killed himself or has managed to “go Rambo” and has rigged the Forrest with traps. There have been calls from Miss Stobbarts family for Moat to give himself up, and assertions from Moats own mother that he would be better off dead. I am not sure how they expect Moat to hear their calls as he was living in a tent until the police put a stop to that and is now, more than likely, living in a tree/hole somewhere.

The BBC News paraded pictures of Moat as a child and asked, “What could turn this child into a maniac?”… Steroids and ego. The same thing that makes all bodybuilders go mad.

Update when anything new occurs.

I would suggest looking in places with lots of heavy things for him to lift and loads of mirrors for him to look at himself while he lifts heavy things, because nothing is cooler than lifting heavy things.

Northumbnailria, (Jul 5) - A gunman who is thought to have shot his ex and killed her lover has apparently sent a 49 page handwritten letter in which he passes the blame onto one of the victims and declares war on the local police. He has assured the Northumbnailria police that he is not intending to kill members of the public, only officers in uniform.

The police have not yet confirmed that the letter came from, or was even written by the suspect Raoul Moat. It seems a safe assumption however. In the letter Moat (37) claims to have customised his ammo so that the cartridge used against his former lover Samantha Stobbart would only wound her, leaving her scarred for life, but giving her the chance to claim compensation. He did no such favours for Stobbart’s new beau, who Moat shot in the head and killed.

Bodybuilder Moat had stayed out of sight beneath an open window at the home of Samantha where he claims to have listened to her and her new lover insult Moat for 90 minutes before deciding that he’d had enough and decided to shoot them. Although he used customised ammo to ensure his ex lover survived, she is still critical in hospital and Moat has announced via his letter that he does regret hurting her and if the doctors do not save her, he will kill them too, no pressure.

To declare war on an entire police force is a rash move. His chances of surviving much longer are slim, having already shot, injuring PC David Rathband, a photo of whom has been released today, covered in blood and lying in hospital. The police, I am sure will not be looking for an arrest, at least they should not be.

Moat's Facebook page...

Naturally, none of this is his fault it is his ex girlfriends. She did this, and the fact that he is a steroid abusing meathead with no grounding in reality has absolutely nothing at all to do with it. His hatred for the police has come from his belief that Samantha left him for a police officer, and that they had asked her to spy on him.

As it stands at the time of writing, Moat is still on the run, despite his assurance that he is not on the run, as much as he is just on a cop-killing spree and that he is only hunting them because they have spent years hunting him. He is on the run though and I would suggest looking in places with lots of heavy things for him to lift and loads of mirrors for him to look at himself while he lifts heavy things, because nothing is cooler than lifting heavy things. It is what makes you a man, it means you can wear tight clothes and live under the assumption that everyone thinks you are awesome.

Updates will no doubt be thick and fast as the day goes on.

UK (Jul 2) – Ignoring the obvious feeling of media induced fear that is instilled in every man, woman and child regarding the threat of terrorism, which is a fairly stupid thing to live in fear of by the way…

When you really think about it, it is really silly and a little arrogant if you ask me. I would probably worry more about it if I worked at a big bank in the city or something like that… Then I would have more to worry about, like hating my own existence.

There is a point you reach, if you are lucky enough, when you just decide ‘to hell with it’ these papers are lying to me. Too many people allow tabloid journalists to shape their outlook. That is a worry; to me it is more of a worry than some miscellaneous Middle Eastern person who hates ‘me’. I’m not saying that all tabloid journalists are shills who are told what to say. However, let’s face it, most of them are. People like Rupert Murdoch are not interested in differing points of view, just money.

I know people who are so afraid of terrorists that they will not get on a plane. Not getting on a plane kind of limits what kind of life you are going to have, to deprive yourself of this ability to travel based on the opinions of a tabloid is really dumb. I am sorry if that includes you, reader, but it is. I am really scared of AIDS, but it isn’t going to stop me having sex.

Today in the UK John Yates, the Assistant Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, who were once led by Ian Blair, the man completely responsible for the cold-blooded and racially motivated killing of Jean Charles De Menenez, has announced that budget cuts by the Government will open the doors to terrorist attacks.

Although there will be massive holes left in counter-terrorism by cutting £87 million from it’s budget, I think people like Yates should concentrate on doing his job, which I’m sure doesn’t involve running his mouth to the press about possible terror attacks. He should be busy thinking about real crimes being committed, and less about theoretical crimes. No matter how terrible and tragic they could be, theoretically.

This story is over-shadowed today though, by a thrilling return to the cold war. The Cold War part 2 has kicked off, and today all the papers are covering it. I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m excited. Spies? Femme Fatales? KGB? Not forgetting the 19-year-old femme fatale spy whose father is a KGB guy, and the man who loved her.

The Cold War is no longer a serious threat in regard to public perception, largely due to movies like James Bond, in particular ‘Goldeneye’ in which the KGB was represented by Robbie Coltrane, the big lovable Scottish guy. The fear of nuclear war is a distant memory now that we have been conditioned to fear a more localised threat in suicide bombings or dirty bombs being let off in a place near you soon.

The British husband of one of the accused in the spy story has ‘broken his silence’. Apparently, Alex Chapman (30) gave a list of reasons for believing that 19 year old Anna is involved in the spy ring including claims that his new wife became “arrogant and secretive” over the course of their marriage and that her Russian father who could possibly have been KGB might have conditioned Anna… This seems to be based on the fathers nationality and Chapmans own prejudice.

Cynicism aside, there could be something in Chapman’s claims… Who knows, but it sounds a lot like she was cheating on him. That would be embarrassing, telling all to the tabloids that, based on behaviour, his wife is a Russian spy involved in a massive espionage ring, when in fact she is just sneaking off at night to her bit on the side.

You do not have to be Nostradamus to have guessed the relationship with the Russians wouldn’t stay civil forever, you wouldn’t even have to be Nastradamus, the 1999 album by Nas, neither side ever gave up spying on each other. Now that Russia is back in the space race, while Obama and his team have pulled out in favour of the indefinite occupation of Afghanistan, it was inevitable that this type of thing would return.

It is just strange that these supposed spies tried to infiltrate PTA groups and cocktail parties, rather than politics or high society.

The FBI have announced that one of their suspects has admitted to them that he is part of a deep cover espionage ring, has a fake identity and is loyal to the KGB, if forced to he would choose the Russians over his family.

Duck and cover folks.

Henry Hunter.

On January 30 1972 in Bogside, Derry, Northern Ireland during a civil rights march, the British Army shot live rounds at the unarmed men, women and children taking part in the march

Father Edward Daly helps move an injured civilian, waving a white flag.

On January 30 1972 in Bogside, Derry, Northern Ireland during a civil rights march, the British Army shot live rounds at the unarmed men, women, and children taking part in the march. 13 men died that day, seven of whom were teenagers, another died weeks later, and his death was attributed to the wounds he received that day. Not only did the Army shoot people, they were running them over with trucks.

After the long awaited inquiry into the killings, known as the Saville Inquiry, found that all the dead men were unarmed and, importantly, that the Army top brass had lied to cover up the murder. Prime Minister David Cameron shocked everyone by yesterday apologising to the victims and the families of the dead, calling the actions of the British Army “unjustified and unjustifiable” during a 12 minute address to the House of Commons.

Following the findings talk of charges being brought against those who fired the shots and those who covered it up were filling news reports and thousands took to the streets to march the same route that the ’72 civil rights march followed, stopping at the Guildhall and the spot where the 13 people died.

The Prime Minister, who was 5 at the time of the massacre read out a vital section of the 5000 page report, quoting “None of the casualties was causing a threat of causing death or serious injury or indeed was doing anything else that could on any view justify their shooting.”

The report shows that the British Army opened fire without warning on a group of people who, if anything, had rocks for weapons. The official statement at the time was that the civil rights group had fired on the Army, and they responded by firing short bursts at the crowd. One person was killed while crawling away, and another while tending to his injured son.

Lieutenant-Colonel Derek Wilford was the Officer in charge that day, and has been singled out in the report. He is retired and living abroad somewhere. If charges are mounted, surely he will be expected to face justice, as should the men who knowingly fired on unarmed civilians.

There are suggestions that the Provisional IRA were on the scene and possibly shot their sub-machine guns, but there is no evidence to back this up. Certainly, they did nothing to warrant the killing of 14 unarmed people.

The report by Lord Saville sensationally admits that the actions of the British Army on Bloody Sunday most definitely provided the Provisional IRA with the support and numbers to carry out the violence toward the British Army in the years that followed.

The historic report was commissioned by Tony Blair as part of the Good Friday agreement, which wouldn’t have been supported by Irish Republicans without such a report looking into the violence of January 30 1972, Bloody Sunday, which resulted in the deaths of the following…

John (Jackie) Duddy (17)

Patrick Joseph Doherty (31)

Bernard McGuigan (41)

Hugh Pious Gilmour (17)

By Eromo Egbejule, Nigeria

A 12-member jury deliberating on the money-laundering trial of associates and selected relatives of the former Delta State governor, James Ibori, has found the ex-helmsman’s sister, Christine Ibori-Ibie, guilty of all charges of money laundering and mortgage fraud.

The jury is yet to announce its verdict pertaining to the third accused aide, Udoamaka Okoronkwo, who is Ibori’s mistress but has acquitted his former assistant, Adebimpe Pogoson, of the charges.

The money laundering trial involving the ex-governor’s female aides began in September 2009 at the Southwark Crown Court London, after Ms Pogoson, (a personal assistant on confidential matters during his tenure as the Delta State governor) and his sister Christie Ibori-Ibie, were charged in December 2007 on three counts of conspiring “together with Mr Ibori, Udoamaka Onuigbo and others, to defraud the Delta State government”.

The aides allegedly helped the former governor move an estimated £70 million worth of looted funds through several London banks.

Meanwhile, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Nigeria are currently holding Mr Ibori in the United Arab Emirates where INTERPOL recently arrested him after evading arrest for some time now.

United Kingdom (May 12) – The Telegraph UK website today has a video showing a civilian tackle an armed robber who was holding up a bookie.

The incredible footage shows Leeds resident Martin Richardson standing up against a man brandishing what appeared to be a loaded handgun. When threatened by the hooded, masked assailant, Mr. Richardson did the one thing the gunman expected least… He set about his head with a metal chair.

After Mr. Richardson rained down metallic justice upon the 20-year-old robber Azar Sulman, who had robbed the same William Hill bookmakers three times, the have-a-go-hero-father-of-six sat on Sulman until help arrived. The judge at the hearing that saw Sulman sent to a young offenders institution in Leeds, also paid a £250 reward and commended Mr. Richardson for his bravery and local police have put his name forward for a bravery award.

In the video interview, Mr. Richardson is in hospital because he broke his arm playing rugby. The unemployed hero decided to set about the robber because after a terrible day at the bookies when he lost a bit of money, this kid decided to point a gun at him, which tipped him over the edge. At the time, no one was to know, but the gun turned out to be a replica. It did not stop the criminal waving it about when he realised stocky Richardson was blocking his exit, and it certainly did not seem to intimidate Richardson when the robber was demanding he be let out.

The media are playing up the idea that Sulman robbed places to fund his £200 per week cannabis habit, which is ridiculous… If he had a £200 per week weed habit, you can be damn sure he wouldn’t be moving about so freely, and so far from his couch… I would be open to the idea; if he held up a convenience store where he could get all the things, a £200 weed habit would demand… Mainly chips, dips and juice. And some chocolate. And maybe some Haribo… And a packet of papers.

The North England security manager for the betting chain William Hill, Trevor Wilkinson, says that while he is grateful for the assistance in taking down the armed man, he stresses to others that they may not be so lucky if they were to tackle a robber, particularly when they have a gun.

Since the recession hit, bookies in towns all over Britain face the danger, more than ever, of being robbed. They hold a lot of money and are not as secure as banks. There was even a spate in my hometown last year of knife hold ups in bookies… But what the robbers fail to take into account is angry people who have just lost all their money, and they will be damned if they are going to let some reprobate steal it from the bookies before they have a chance to win it back… At least try to.
