Indian Paisa League: Profitable losses

The Indian Premier League cricket games are only half way through and people have started tuning for news channels more often to hear about it than the sports channels. Controversy after controversy,

Corey Haim Dies of Overdose at Age 38

I began this article in high spirits, having just returned from a holiday in Holland where I spent the majority of my time in coffee shops sampling the best coffee Amsterdam has to offer. I don’t know how much you know about Amsterdam, and Holland in general, but the coffee is amazing, and there are lots of different blends to try.

"The Parker" A Desert Paradise in Palm Springs California "REVIEW"

Could not have a more perfect setting; amidst palm trees and beautifully landscaped gardens, it is an oasis under the desert sun. Palm Springs is a hub of arts, architecture and culture. Entertainment is plentiful with a myriad of fine restaurants and nearby casinos, such as the Morongo in Cabazon, and Aqua Caliente in Rancho Mirage. New Year – Old Recipes

We have just a few more days of 2009, and the promise of a fresh start in 2010 is on the horizon. All around the world, people celebrate the New Year with foods for good luck.  I’m familiar with liverwurst, pickled herring, and black beans and rice to name but a smattering.  Many of [...]

Even though, not a limelight hit, this is one of the most expected and most favorite film festival of all directors across the world. The best in the two worlds are selected for the festival with no power ranking above quality and artwork. The Golden Crow Pheasant award is thus a credit to the makers of good cinema.

Chocolate for the Greater Good?

Then comes the next aisle and straight above me I see those dreaded words printed in bold, large font: Candy and Baked Goods. I stare at the dark colored chocolate boxes as if they are seducing me. They taunt me with words like “smooth” and “creamy”.

Ever the Teacher – Milo

Milo is a great teacher.  Although he can’t ‘speak’, he understands language perfectly and puts it to good use on a daily basis.  From really simple no-brainers, to more complex lessons, I’m always learning from him and I try to be a good student.  Two of the best lessons he’s given me is to make my point [...]
