Nightclub & Bar Convention & Trade Show 2016

Las Vegas, NV (Mar) Celebrities walked the red carpet, and Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman assisted in the ribbon cutting ceremony opening the 2016 Nightclub & Bar Convention & Trade Show at The Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV. The show ran for three days; March 7-9th. This is the only event serving the total bar and nightlife industry. The Convention connects owners, operators, chefs, and mixologists with leading suppliers.

Conference sessions included seminar training for bar managers, including social media, and design strategies. Attendees received up to date research on industry trends in bar and nightlife, and exposure to hot new products. Nightlife networking included trips to Hyde Bellagio, Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay, and Marquee Nightclub at The Cosmopolitan Hotel. Conventioneers sampled cocktails, craft beers, and viewed the hottest uniforms.

The Craft Brewers Pavilion included new exhibitors for 2016; Angel City Brewers, Garage Brewing Company, Laurelwood Brewing Company, Left Hand Brewing Company, and Odell Brewing Company.

Caged Heat™ for Artisanal Cocktails, owned by business partners Jared Hirsch and Jennifer Absinthia Vermut, offered samples of cocktails made with their product. Caged Heat™ is made with tamarind, cardamom, and ghost pepper in small batches, and has won several awards. Kelli M Rosen, Marketing Coordinator with Beverage-Air, demonstrated their equipment for glass frosters. The automatic defrost coils, with a built in condensate vaporator system, eliminates the need for floor drains or additional plumbing. Condensate is automatic and non-electric.
