The Royal Purple Maxx2Racing ‘Bad Bird’ LSR Race Car has been officially invited to the Prestigious 46th Palo Alto Concours d’Elegance at Stanford, Sunday, June 24, 2012. The car will be located on the lawn, in the racecar Gallery of the Greats. A special thanks to Ric Donofrio owner, CAVALLINOS Exotic Car Collision Center, Palo Alto, CA. Ric has additional cars entered in the show, with a special emphasis on sponsors and suppliers for his shop along with, RP ‘Bad Bird’.
The ‘Bad Bird’ will run at the Mojave Magnum 1.5 Mile events the first weekend of June, where David Haas will enter another 200 Club, with Ric, Bob, and myself running for our ultimate goals of 200 Club recognition. We then head for Ric’s shop in Palo Alto with the car to be detailed for the Coucours show. Don’t miss one of the greatest car events you will ever attend, with every classification of automobiles you will ever personally view.
This is indeed an honor for all of the Maxx2Racing Team Members, and we will make everyone proud of our accomplishments. But, you haven’t seen anything yet! Wait ‘til you see the new ’99 Firebird ‘Build’, it will knock your socks off! Can we say, ‘Awesome’?
Yes, I plead guilty to taking time away from the Firebird ‘Build’, which is progressing nicely. However, running the ‘Bad Bird’ at the Wilmington Ohio ECTA Mile was a must, and the Concours Show is something every sponsor on both cars can be proud of, and brag about to their customers, company contacts, and all who follow auto related activities.
