Washington, D.C. (Sept 7) – As promised over the weekend, President Obama unveiled a new plan to inject $50 billion into the nation’s economy hopefully leading to jobs creation.
The plan will tackle 150,000 miles of roads, construction and maintenance of 4,000 miles of rail, and rehabilitating 150 miles of runway along with, modernization of the air traffic control system.
The recent announcement is only one, of several plans the President prepares to announce to help stimulate the economy and kick-start hiring in the nation. An oversight committee will be established to coordinate private, state, and local capital to invest in these projects.
The plan still faces the test in Congress and is scheduled to meet the PayGo guidelines that the Republikan Party suddenly finds themselves defending as, during the previous administration the Republican Party passed bill after bill, unpaid for, placing the total cost squarely on the shoulders of America’s middle and lower classes.
With hopes of convincing American’s that turning back the hands of time, and placing the Republican Party back in control of Congress, would be the gravest error this country has made in its history, the President remarked, “They’re betting that between now and November, you’ll come down with a case of amnesia. They think you’ll forget what their agenda did to this country.”
President Obama plans on unveiling his next proposal on Wednesday, in Ohio announcing the extension of middle-class tax cuts, investing in clean energy, and delivering more tax breaks to businesses to encourage hiring.
As the Republican Party is preparing for an anticipated victory in November, plans are already on the table to expand the Foreign Tax Credits that have already caused the loss of millions of American jobs to overseas and offshore tax shelters, as well as ending the Emergency Unemployment Extension program, will cease to exist by November 31, 2010 if, the Republican Party gains control of Congress.
The EUC program that has brought millions of American addition unemployment payments in the form of extensions allowing them to cling on to what little they have left after 8 years of Republican Party rule.
This November could be the final nail in the coffin for America’s workforce if, the GOP pulls-off a miracle and lie their way back into office, American’s in search of a job, will need to travel overseas to find gainful employment in terms of those that have been lost due to the carelessness of the Republican Party.

Obama’s plan is exactly what we need. First it stimulates our economy, while also rebuilding our infrustructure. I just hope politics doen’t waylay his plan.
