Russians Eliminate Twelve Terrorists in Tsentoroi Sunday in Assassination Attempt

Russia (Aug 29) – The Russian government proves once again that taking a no non-sense approach to dealing with terrorists works. Sunday, a group of twelve terrorists lured, trapped, and then, eliminated.

Chechen president’s personal security detail involved in a shootout with 19 Islamic terrorists, lured the group into Tsentoroi, the Chechen presidents home town, drove the gang into an area of no escape, and eliminated twelve of them.

During the gun battle, five civilians were killed along with, two of the president’s security detail. The initial battle began approximately 150 meters from the President Kadyrov’s home whereas, once the gun battle began, the terrorists began invading private homes in the area for cover.

At one location, once surrounded one of the terrorists detonated a bomb killing himself, and the occupant of the structure. The remaining terrorists were engaged then, killed, or captured.

This brings to 40, the total number of insurgents killed this month. Four additional suspected militants, were killed at a checkpoint. The militants traveling in two separate vehicles, attempted to run the checkpoint where, security forces opened fire on the vehicle, killing all four.

Yesterday, nine insurgents were killed in two separate incidents, during gun battles with police in the Kabardino-Balkariya republic. Additionally, five militants were killed during a gun battle in Dagestan.
