President Obama Calls on Republican Obstructionists to Pass Jobs Bill

Seattle, WA (Aug 18) – President Obama once again called on the Republican Party to halt their obstructionism and pass the jobs bill aimed at helping small businesses to obtain bank loans.

It is common knowledge that the Republican Party is in bed with large corporations whereas, their interests lie deep within the party’s campaign coffers. A $30 billion jobs creation package is just one of the many bills the Republican minority has blocked via filibuster in the Senate during the last eight months.

President Obama states, “A partisan minority in the Senate has been standing in the way of giving our small business people a simple up or down vote on this bill. They won’t even let it to go to vote.” Adding, the Republican Party is playing “political games” with the nation’s workforce.

During a small business event in Seattle, President Obama told the attendees, “It’s going to take a few years to fully dig ourselves out of this recession.” With small businesses employing nearly two-thirds of the nation’s workforce, the necessity to speed assistance to small business owners is essential to the economic growth of the nation.

Senate Republican’s crying PayGo, have blocked every bill placed in front of the Senate since February. Senate Republicans refuse as well, to rescind the disastrous Foreign Tax Credits that allow corporations to evade income taxes on payroll by simply, sending jobs offshore, closing down American factories, and sending American manufacturing  jobs overseas as well.

Rescinding Bush era tax credits are essential to increase wealthy business owners, and corporate giants’ participation in the nation’s economic burden. Currently, Bush era tax credits simply shifted the burden to small businesses within the U.S. along with middle and lower class wage earners. The abandonment of the American workforce to avoid paying payroll taxes in the U.S. has led to the largest number of unemployed American’s in modern history.

Currently, Senate Republicans have their eyes on expanding Bush era tax cuts thusly, sending millions more American jobs overseas swelling the already overtaxed unemployment system with millions of additional unemployed American workers.

The President has called upon Senate Republicans in September to focus on the nation’s needs, and pass the Small Business Jobs Bill. Also awaiting further Republican obstructionism once Congress returns from recess is, Senator Stabenow’s Americans Want to Work Act. A bill that is designed in part, to increase the number of week’s unemployment extensions to American workers that have exhausted all their Emergency Unemployment Benefits.

These bills can be paid for by simply; rescinding the Bush era tax credits the Republican Party hold as their cornerstone to their jobs in Washington. It is time for Senate Republicans to stop thinking about themselves and their wealthy campaign donors, and begin extending the same security to American workers.

Give me a break. DEMOCRATS are just as much in bed with large corporations as Republicans. Don’t believe me? Do some research at a non-partisan, non-profit website that tracks donations. Do you know, for instance, that Obama took more money from Goldman Sachs than either Bush or McCain? He also took more money from BP than any other person in D.C. Get your facts straight. BOTH ruling parties are cut from the exact same cloth and owned by the exact same masters. The only solution is a viable third (and fourth) party. Otherwise, there will be no difference, no matter who is sitting in D.C.

Sorry we do not provide free advertisements for web sites that deal in fantasy, and fairy tales…. You may want to concentrate your efforts on the jobs boards versus dribble coming from some group of right-wing nut jobs….
