Boris Said | First NASCAR win

Montreal (Aug 30) – Boris Said finally won his first Nationwide series race Sunday August 29 at Montreal in overtime with a Green-White-Checker finish.

NASCAR required a photo but the Said-Heads knew Boris had won. Max Papis lost by .012 seconds driving Kevin Harvick’s number 33 Chevrolet.

Jacques Villeneuve was one of the local favorites taking third place with Brad Keselowski finishing fourth and maintaining the points lead.

Carl Edwards has the second place points standing finishing poorly in 20th place off the lead lap.

This was Boris Said’s second nationwide start this year and his first time working with Crew Chief, Scott Zipadelli.  Boris drove the number 09 car for Bobby Benton who also enjoyed his first nationwide win as owner.

September 4th will be the next race in Atlanta where, Brad Keselowski is poised to win his first nationwide series Championship with enough racing remaining for Carl Edwards to repeat.
