iPad Causes 10 Deaths

Once upon a time it was what you said, or what you did that defined you.  If you wanted to be noticed, you had to stand out from the crowd and let your feelings be known, to hell with the consequences.  However, today it is simply your possessions that people care about.

The latest piece of utterly pointless trash that people see as a must own is the iPad…  The iPad is a giant iPhone that doesn’t do half the things an iPhone does.  I guess there is someone on the face of the planet who would find an actual use for it…  However, to the everyday man on the street, it is simply filling the same purpose as a big expensive car, or a house filled with tacky impersonal nonsense that people with no real qualities buy to try and fit in.  Even the name, iPad…  It sounds to me like a badly thought out, grotesque APP in which you have to cycle through different sized tampons until you find the right size to absorb the blood.  Only then can you progress to the next level…

Given that the iPad is ‘THE MUST HAVE ITEM OF 2010′ and people will practically sell their soul to own one, just so they can get it out in public and let others envy their coolness and citizen of the future appearance,  forget the fact you are having to sit staring at your lap while using it…  It should be pointed out that this tablet has already claimed 10 young lives in the Chinese factory where the components are built.

Ten people between the ages of 18 and 25 have taken their own lives after working flat out to meet production demands ahead of the iPads UK release.  The latest death was 19-year-old factory worker Li Hai, who leapt to his death from the top of the FoxConn building he worked in.  It is believed that the long hours and hard work are the reasons behind the rising death toll…  4am starts, and 4000 computers expected daily.  The iPad might well be heading for the up market, or wannabe up market tools in London who have far more money than sense, but it comes at a very high price…  Not that half the people who will buy an iPad will consider those because with great wealth comes great ignorance.

Enjoy your massive iPhone you massive group of trendy cool cats.  At least the bloodstains are on the inside where your dumb, but highly and easily impressed mates can’t see it.
