Deepwater Horizon | Two men propose natural solution to cleanup disaster

T. Cahill

U.S. (May 22) – While BP and the government waste time on useless and expensive attempts to clean up the Deepwater Horizon oil rig disaster, two men have come up with the simple solution to effectively remove oil floating on the ocean’s surface.

Using nothing more than hay, and demonstrating the use of several common varieties of hay, within minutes they manage to remove 100 percent of a simulation of an oil spill. Stating that it would also provide a much easier, more natural approach that includes beach “wash up”, this same approach can be applied in a wide scale manner. They have the solution.

See what simple American ingenuity comes up with:

Once again this shows that over-complicating an issue tends to result in no results. Also big money ideas may be just that, ideas that do nothing but drain and strain federal budgets.

It would appear that this simple, cheap solution may very well be right there at everyone’s fingertips. It most certainly should be attempted. The video you just watched has been in circulation for more than a week. It is to be wondered if BP and/or the U.S. government has bothered to watch such a simple approach to such a disastrous, and still unchecked environmental catastrophe.

At least save the wetlands and the mantees! If I were in charge, I’d let these guys give this a go, it certainly couldn’t hurt!

I hope they can just get out there and do it! Nobody is doing anything, and the mess just gets worse everyday. This sure looks like it would work. The have a great plan, which is always better that NO plan at all!
