I truly believe that Apple is scared of losing its dominance in the smart phone arena. The open-source nature of Android has significantly changed the smartphone world. Apple depends upon, not only sales of its iPhone, but residual income from its iTunes store. The Android platform threatens this source of income because one does not need to go through Apple for movies, music, and content. Not to mention - censorship. Great article, Selena.
