Al-Qaeda short of funding, running narcotics throughout the land of Islam

With United Nations economic sanctions along with the US treasury department’s global crackdown on Al-Qaeda’s financiers, Bin Laden and his followers have turned to dealing narcotics to fund their war.

What a turn of events, trained by the CIA in the 80’s to combat communism, funded by narcotics, Bin Laden has torn a page out of the GOP playbook, and turned a blind eye to the Koran. Just recently a DEA operation snared cocaine smugglers transporting their illegal cargo across the Sahara desert. As it turns out it was actually a DEA “sting” operation.

With Islamic “Charitable” organizations set-up as fronts to collect cash to fund Al-Qaeda’ terrorists and efforts being shutdown worldwide, it would appear that Al-Qaeda may be close to their own “economic” crisis.

What irony, the GOP drains the United States of cash fighting a war in Iraq, turning a blind-eye to the real criminals behind 9-11, the “enemy” is now facing a cash crisis themselves.

The United Nations Security Council on Al-Qaida and Taliban Sanction Committee lists approximately 28 organizations and individuals directly identified as financiers of the terrorist group. The cash squeeze is also leading to hostage taking and ransoming of same to raise funds.

It would appear that in fact, economic sanctions do work and take their toll. The stance the GOP took in Iraq has been overwhelming exposed as a bad fiscal move. Although, “democracy” would appear on the surface to be blooming in Iraq, the killing goes on.

With almost certainty had the GOP simply tighten the already existing sanctions in place against Iraq, channel their efforts against Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda while, stemming “their” cash flow, the deficit/fiscal crisis the United States now faces, to which the GOP still manages to pin blame on the current administration, would or could be well under control by this time.

It would appear that no matter how much preaching the Taliban and/or Bin Laden spew in both audio and videos released to the west, doctored by Al Jazeera, the bottom-line is, that this group is nothing more than narco-terrorists. Once again, a method well learned from the Afghan/Soviet war sponsored in part by the GOP and the CIA.
