Senate Democrats unveil 362-page jobs package | The House announces a two week "Snow" break

Oh my bad weather, well it's better we simply shut the congressional house down vs. getting our nice suits damaged by this horrible weather. I'm certain little Johnny that we put out on the streets to live will understand.

WASHINGTON, February 09,2010 – In a single word “Unbelievable”. How can the entire Congressional body take these problems so lightly? Millions of American families are on the edge of their seats, not knowing where to turn next, and Congress decides to go into total stalemate.

Provisions in the current “draft” which has, bipartisan backing, but no real verbiage regarding creating a foundation to get Americans back to work. A portion of the bill, $10 billion will be utilized to exempt companies from paying the employer’s share of the Social Security tax for new hirers this year. I’ll bet they’ll be lining up to save that 6.9% on the 5 or 6 Americans they planned on hiring this year.

The bill excludes President Obama’s plan which, would have included a tax cut of up to $5,000 for each American added to their payroll, and a $250 rebate to the millions of Americans collecting Social Security.

This measure would cost approximately, $80 billion dollars (seems the buck not only stops here but, doesn’t go that far anymore). $80 billion going to fragmented ideas drummed up to appease the GOP, simple mathematics would show that it may be easier to divide that $80 billion amongst the 29 million unemployed Americans and simply issue them all checks for roughly $3,000 dollars assuring they will be stuck in poverty for the foreseeable future.

This bill falls significantly short of the house bill that had intended on using left over “fat cat” money, the TARP fund to help out the millions of Americans that have suffered the most from these, the worse fiscal times known to the history of the United States of America generated by an administration that simply slipped the blinders on to appease their biggest political contributors. The failed policies of the former Bush administration amounted to over 2 times the amount of all deficits created via the past 42 presidential administrations over the last 224 years.

The response from the House to all of this, “Oh god lord, the weather is simply awful outside, it would be best for us to take a two week vacation so we don’t get our feet wet walking to work” meanwhile, millions of American families will be lucky if they can afford to purchase the shoes their children need to keep their feet dry while LIVING out on the streets.

What activists must consider is a movement that would take these displaced American families and move them into the neighborhoods of these fat cats that care less about their constituents, and more about whether there $2,000 suit ensembles would get damaged by the weather in Washington, D.C. this week allowing those to, set up camp in their upscale neighborhoods to give them a good first look at what those, that have the gall to call themselves, representatives of the peoples of this once great nation, the United States of America, have created.

This is an absolute slap in the face to Americans.

While doing my reasearch, I have yet to determine or have any sources reveal that actual extension for benefits to unemployed Americans to keep food in their children’s mouths, or a roof over their heads, and a chance to have their medical conditions treated.

However, one calculating the amounts based on simple mathematics, one would guess it could not be any longer than 12 weeks. This of course realizing that the bill carries a weight of $80 billion, and more than likely 10 times that amount to kick the government agencies in the pants to get the money flowing.

WorldNewsVine sends their deepest sympathies to all those families with children that have been forced out on to the street by the absolute mindless, reckless, and careless fiscal management over the past 8 years.

Once again, God Bless and help our fellow American’s for you know damn certain, the GOP won’t.

This pisses me off! The politicians are supposed to be working on our behalf and it seems like they take more time off than a retiree.

That’s just the problem, they are mostly retirees that like to play games with the livelihood of Americans…

mashcwar, I am starting to lean your direction with Obama but, we need another political party in this nation that isn’t nothing more than a “political machine” that thrives on borderline “criminal” activities even if they should be considered crimes against humanity

Neither party has my vote next election, and bets have it, I could drag along something like the 80% of the 29.5 million “underemployed”/unemployed Americans..

The problem is this country doesn’t have the balls to get out and protest anymore with the exception of a bunch of whiny morons that call themselves “Tea Partiers”
