Laid Off & Left Out: Americas Workers Deserve Better – Please help before the February 19th deadline!

Ontario, CA, Tent City - Don't Leave More Families Out In the Cold - Ask Your Representatives and Senators to Extend UI Benefits for Millions of Americans

As I was researching an article regarding the current economic crisis caused by 8 years of total governmental mismanagement, I came across this webpage that I hope everyone will take the time to look at and respond to.

I am certain that we all know at least one friend, or family member that has been deeply impacted by this economic disaster and knowing that simply going back to the way things “were” under the GOP administration is not the answer. In fact, in my honest opinion, if the GOP takes over in 2010, or 2012 I will make this statement now, and eat the hardcopy if proven wrong, “The United States of America will be in full collapse by the year 2013 if, the status quo of a republican administration is allowed/voted/”selected” for office.

I am not alone in making this statement. I know of plenty of employed or should I state, under-employed Americans that are right now, rat-packing for the near future, and [dramatic pause] many are republicans. Republicans that have seen the “writing on the wall”. The GOP stands for no one but itself, and they know it. These folks are sitting on the edge of their seats (at the office) waiting for the next shoe to drop.

Please do not let families be sent out on to the streets, and remember, even though they are collecting unemployment, they are spending those monies in your stores, paying your mortgages and taxes via rent monies. Please help NOW by following this link and/or contacting your US representatives via phone calls, or email and let them know that if, the unemployment help is not extended before February 19, 2010 millions of  Americans and their families will suffer.
